The top-tier cake showpiece is the beautiful bride and handsome groom driving away in the lotus car from the TV series. This was created out of modelling clay, so the couple could keep it forever. Below the car is a chess board, along with ‘vote number 6’ posters and a penny-farthing bicycle on the side of the cake. A range of cupcakes were finished with different coloured buttercream swirls to represent the buildings of the village.

From the top tier, blossom is cascading down the side of the cake, creating a flowing movement. The lower tiers have been finished with a purple organsa and satin-faced ribbon.
