On International Woman’s Day I thought I would put up a post to highlight women in the catering world.

It has been my profession since 2003 and I have worked in many aspects of it from waitressing, kitchen porter, baking, chefing and starting my own cake business in 2014. This picture is of me at my first Wedding Fayre when I first started my cake business.

It has been both challenging and very rewarding. I am proud to have got this far, especially with what we have all gone through in the past two years.

To all women in the catering world you are my super heroes.
