Portmerion Theme

This cake was inspired by the village of Portmeirion, North Wales, where the TV series ‘The Prisoner’ was filmed.

The cake topper is the beautiful bride and handsome groom driving a lotus car. This was created out of Fimo modelling clay, so the couple could have it as a keep sake.

The black top tier is styled like a gentleman’s bowler hat. On top of the hat is a chess board, with ‘vote number 6’ posters and a penny-farthing on the side. A range of cupcakes were decorated with coloured buttercream swirls to represent the buildings of Portmeirion.
