Cake Design

All cakes can be fully customised to your needs. Design concepts can be discussed and arranged either by phone, email or in person. Alterations to the cake design can be arranged no less than one week before the cake is due.

Cake Menu

It’s important that your cake tastes as good as it looks. Emma provides a range of Sponge flavours, which you can order, including:

• Vanilla
• Lemon
• Chocolate
• Chocolate Orange
• Mocha
• Coffee
• Rosewater & Raspberry
• Carrotcake

Toppings include:

• Vanilla Buttercream
• Lemon Buttercream
• Chocolate Buttercream
• Dark Chocolate Ganache
• Raspberry Buttercream
• Coffee Buttercream

Cakes can be covered in Sugarpaste and/or Buttercream.

Emma’s Fruit Cake recipe is full of rich flavours, containing fruits, nuts and some alcohol. They can be covered in Sugarpaste and/ or Royal Icing.

Prices

As each cake can be bespoke, so the costs vary depending on requirements. As a guide, prices start from:

• £40 for a 6″ decorated sponge cake.
• £50 for a 6″ decorated fruit cake.
• £15 for a box of 6 cupcakes. Additional cakes are £2.50 each.

Special Dietary Requirements

All sponges and fruit cakes are baked by Emma, with a range of flavours to choose from, so please ask to see Emma’s Cake Menu. If you have any special dietary requirements, such as gluten free or allergies, please contact Emma so the necessary arrangements can be made to suit your needs.

Ordering

Birthday cakes and other Celebration cakes can be ordered in advance, as the customer wishes. Please order your cake with at least two weeks notice of the date when you require the cake. This will ensure Emma can design the cake in time for your special occasion.

Payment and Delivery

For all cakes a deposit of 50% is required in advance. Payment can be made via bank transfer – Emma will provide the details in your invoice. Cheque or cash is also accepted when the customer collects the cake, or the cake is delivered.

For all orders outside of the LL26 postal code area, Emma James Cakes asks that you collect your order from the premises at Mervinian House, Ancaster Square, Llanrwst, LL26 0LB. Please call Emma to arrange a collection time.
